Electrical, Inverter & Lithium Power detail

Our approach

Shore, generator, battery

A coach has three power sources and a lot of switching between them. Shore power and the generator meet at the transfer switch. The inverter-charger turns battery power into household power and charges the batteries back up. Solar adds to the batteries when the sun is out.

When something works on shore power but not on batteries, the fault is usually somewhere in that chain: an inverter setting, a battery bank that can't deliver current, a loose cable or a transfer switch contact. We test each stage to find where power stops.

Lithium upgrades can be a real improvement for coaches that boondock or run residential fridges, but charging profiles, alternator charging and battery monitoring all have to match the new chemistry. We look at the whole system before recommending one.

Process

How we handle it

  1. 01

    Map

We trace how power flows through your specific coach.

  2. 02

    Measure

Voltage and current tested at each stage under load.

  3. 03

    Recommend

Repair or upgrade options explained in plain words.

  4. 04

    Configure

Settings matched to your batteries and how you travel.

Our standard

The white-glove standard

A luxury coach deserves the same care as the home and the car parked next to it. That means testing before replacing, explaining before quoting, and leaving the coach cleaner than we found it.

  • 01

    Diagnose first

Root cause before repair. We test before we replace anything.

  • 02

    Clear quote before any work

You see the plan and approve it before a single part is ordered.

  • 03

    Your interior protected

Shoe covers and floor runners every time we step inside.

  • 04

    Photos and written findings

After every visit you get photos and a written summary of what we found.

We come to your coach: home, storage lot or campground across Forsyth County and North Atlanta.

FAQ

Electrical & Lithium questions

  • The inverter may be off or faulted, the battery bank may be too weak to deliver current, or a high-current cable may be loose or corroded. We test the inverter output and the battery side to find which.

  • It depends on how you use the coach. Owners who boondock, run a residential fridge on the road or want lighter batteries often benefit. The charger, alternator charging and monitoring must be set for lithium too.

  • Common causes are low battery voltage, overload, overheating or a ground fault. The fault code on the inverter or remote panel tells us where to start, so take a photo of it.

  • Use 50 amp when your coach is built for it and the site offers it. On 30 amp you will need to manage loads, usually running only one A/C unit at a time with fewer appliances on.
