Slide-Out & Leveling Systems detail

Our approach

Don't force it

When a slide stops halfway or a jack won't retract, the natural reaction is to keep pressing the button. That can bend mechanisms, tear seals or strain motors that were only asking for a small fix.

Hydraulic systems depend on fluid level, hoses and valves. Electric systems depend on motors, gears, sensors and steady voltage. Many slide problems turn out to be low battery voltage, a tripped breaker or a sensor out of position rather than a broken mechanism.

Before we touch anything we secure the coach, check power and fluid, and look for what stopped the motion. Seals and toppers get attention too, because they keep water out once everything is back in place.

Process

How we handle it

  1. 01

    Secure

We make the coach safe before working on anything that moves.

  2. 02

    Check power

Battery voltage, breakers, fluid and controls first.

  3. 03

    Find the cause

Motors, hoses, sensors and mechanisms tested one by one.

  4. 04

    Restore

Repair, adjust and test the full range of motion.

Our standard

The white-glove standard

A luxury coach deserves the same care as the home and the car parked next to it. That means testing before replacing, explaining before quoting, and leaving the coach cleaner than we found it.

  • 01

    Diagnose first

Root cause before repair. We test before we replace anything.

  • 02

    Clear quote before any work

You see the plan and approve it before a single part is ordered.

  • 03

    Your interior protected

Shoe covers and floor runners every time we step inside.

  • 04

    Photos and written findings

After every visit you get photos and a written summary of what we found.

We come to your coach: home, storage lot or campground across Forsyth County and North Atlanta.

FAQ

Slides & Leveling questions

  • Stop pressing the switch. Check that the batteries are charged and the engine or shore power is on, and look for anything blocking the slide. If it still won't move, call us before trying a manual override.

  • No. Driving with jacks down can cause serious damage. Many systems have a manual retract procedure in the owner's manual. If you're unsure, call us and we'll talk you through the next step.

  • Low voltage, worn gears, dry seals dragging, or low hydraulic fluid are common causes. A slow slide is a warning sign worth checking before it stops completely.

  • Keep them clean and use a rubber seal conditioner recommended for RVs a few times a year. Avoid petroleum products that can swell or damage the rubber.
