Our approach

Georgia summers, freeze nights

North Georgia asks a lot of a coach's climate system. Summer afternoons push roof air conditioners to their limit, and spring pollen packs into filters and coils right before the hot months arrive.

Many coaches use heat pumps for mild days and a furnace or hydronic system when it gets truly cold. Hydronic heat, common in diesel pushers, also supplies hot water, so one fault can leave you with no heat and no hot shower at the same time.

We check airflow, filters, coils, voltage at the units and the controls that tie them together, and on hydronic systems we look at the burner, the electric elements, the pumps and the coolant loop.

Process

How we handle it

  1. 01

    Airflow

Filters, coils and ducts checked first.

  2. 02

    Power

Voltage at the units and the control boards.

  3. 03

    Heat source

Heat pump, furnace or hydronic burner and elements tested.

  4. 04

    Comfort check

Temperatures measured at the vents before we leave.

Our standard

The white-glove standard

A luxury coach deserves the same care as the home and the car parked next to it. That means testing before replacing, explaining before quoting, and leaving the coach cleaner than we found it.

  • 01

    Diagnose first

Root cause before repair. We test before we replace anything.

  • 02

    Clear quote before any work

You see the plan and approve it before a single part is ordered.

  • 03

    Your interior protected

Shoe covers and floor runners every time we step inside.

  • 04

    Photos and written findings

After every visit you get photos and a written summary of what we found.

We come to your coach: home, storage lot or campground across Forsyth County and North Atlanta.

FAQ

Heating & A/C questions

  • Dirty filters or coils, low voltage at the unit, a failing capacitor or simply more heat than one unit can handle are common causes. We measure the air temperature in and out to see how the unit is performing.

  • Yes. Pollen clogs return filters and coats the coils, which cuts airflow and cooling. Cleaning or replacing filters after the spring pollen season is one of the easiest ways to help your A/C.

  • Hydronic systems heat water through a separate loop or valve. A mixing valve, a pump or a setting can stop hot water while heat still works. We test the system's water side and controls.

  • Heat pumps work well on mild days and save propane. As temperatures drop toward freezing they lose efficiency, and the furnace or hydronic heat should take over.
